Sandra was born in Wales, received an undergraduate degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management and began working for the BBC in London. Sandra emigrated to the U.S. during the 1960s and received an MBA at St. Mary’s in Moraga, California. Evolving as a sales and marketing executive at Del Monte Corporation, Sandra went on to start her own business, the Gourmet Center, with her husband; their company provided menu items to airlines, both nationally and internationally. Sandra serves on the board of trustees of the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation,Terma Foundation, San Francisco Asian Women’s Shelter, the Hoover Institution, the Heritage Foundation and the Pacific Research Institute. Her passions are wine, food and good conversations.
