July 19-23, 2018
Iceland is an advanced country, where people, while holding dear to their Viking roots, embrace the latest technologies. Icelanders have a rich Nordic culture, a love for music, literature, and story-telling and of course, a passion for the great outdoors.
The countryside has retained its charm, where old country inns are modernized to include high quality linens, fast Wifi, bathroom amenities, and top-of-the-line furnishings and hardware. The history remains, hidden in the refurbished floor boards, or the polished concrete walls. Farm life integrates perfectly with supplying rustic, boutique accommodations, offering local produce for breakfast.
Iceland offers a rich variety of activities for adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts. Those who are willing to explore their wild side will be highly rewarded by experiencing the ephemeral energy found in the Icelandic countryside. Activity level will be customized to the overall group.
This trip will be an intimate experience, as you will be with a family of private, local guides for the entire time, traveling into off-the-beaten-path sites and seeing Iceland from the locals’ perspective. You will have the chance to taste Icelandic cuisine, learn a bit about the local culture and history, and experience the many natural wonders of Iceland. And, of course, central to traveling to this unique land, will be our daily conversations about life’s mysteries and the wonder of our individual stories.
Price per single attendee is $8,100. Price per person in a double is $7,250.
